Scott Brazeau

He was born in Escanaba, Michigan.  He has lived in Michigan all his life and he is married with two children.  He moved to Adrian and then to the Detroit area to continue his education.  He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a Teaching Certificate from Siena Heights University and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Cranbrook Art Academy.  He is an artist, metalsmith and teacher.  He works as an art teacher for the Farmington Public School District.  He has run his own studio for almost 20 years creating art furniture, sculptures and custom orders.  His work has been shown in museums, galleries, on the Designers Challenge HGTV show, and in print.  Some of the most outrageous pieces he's created of recent are a male and female chair with anatomically correct parts.  Other pieces include a two-dimensional and three-dimensional three-story tall mural, steel masks and steel totem poles.
